The OVMA has just announced its Fall Education Program lineup, which will kick off on Sept. 28.ÊCourses will cover Ohio sales and use tax regulations, professional use of social media, how to develop an effective veterinary team, and OSHA and record keeping. Both OVMA Members, their staffs and non-members are welcome to attend, but due to space restrictions, interested individuals are encouraged to register early for the following courses: 9/28 Ñ Sales & Use Tax Workshop This workshop will help you understand not only the new parameters of use tax enforcement, responsibility and amnesty, but it will help you answer the question veterinary professionals face every day: ÒIs this taxable?Ó This workshop is filling fast, so register now!   10/5 Ñ When Viral is a Good Thing: Using Social Media to Reach Your Clients In this hands-on course, you will learn the importance of an online presence and be introduced to the various social media tools availableÑmost of which cost little or even nothing.   10/19 Ñ Acquiring & Developing Your PracticeÕs Most Valuable Asset: Your Team This course will teach you how to establish and foster a stellar team for your practice, starting with finding the best people for the job   11/16 Ñ Record Keeping & OSHA: Easing the Pain This course will teach you how to establish and foster a stellar team for your practice, starting with finding the best people for the job.   Individuals who register for two or more courses will receive a 5% discount on their grand total.
