Bravo recalls potentially contaminated dog, cat food

Bravo Pet Foods of Manchester, Conn., is recalling select lots of its Bravo Chicken Blend diet for dogs and cats due to possible Salmonella contamination. The company has not yet received any reports of illness in either people or animals.

The following product sold in retail and Internet stores across the U.S. is being voluntarily recalled because of the possible presence of Salmonella:

  • Bravo Blend Chicken diet for dogs and cats
    Item number: 21-102
    Size: 2 pound (32 ounce) chub
    Best Used By Date: 11-13-16
    UPC: 829546211028

The following products did not test positive for Salmonella. However, they are also being voluntarily recalled out of an abundance of caution. This is because they were produced in the same manufacturing facility on the same day as the product that tested positive.
