Shelter scholarship winners announced

  • Humane Society and SPCA of Hancock County (Findlay, Ohio)
  • Humane Society of Allen County (Lima, Ohio)
  • Humane Society of Erie County (Sandusky, Ohio)
  • Indianapolis Animal Care and Control (Indianapolis, Ind.)
  • Jessamine County Animal Care and Control (Nicholasville, Ky.)
  • Kenton County Animal Shelter (Covington, Ky.)
  • Knox County Humane Society (Mount Vernon, Ohio)
  • Louisville Metro Animal Services (Louisville, Ky.)
  • Lucas County Dog Warden (Holland, Ohio)
  • New Albany Floyd County Animal Care & Control (New Albany, Ind.)
  • Paris Animal Welfare Society (Paris, Ky.)
  • Portage County Dog Warden Office and Shelter (Ravenna, Ohio)
  • The Humane Society of Columbiana County (Salem, Ohio)
  • The Humane Society of Delaware County (Delaware, Ohio)
  • The Humane Society Serving Logan County (Bellefontaine, Ohio)
  • Williams Co. Humane Society (Bryan, Ohio)
  • Wood County Humane Society (Bowling Green, Ohio)

The shelter scholarships, awarded annually, are meant to alleviate the financial burden that many animal rescue organizations face. Each scholarship, made possible by grants from The Kenneth A. Scott Charitable Trust, a Key Bank Trust and the Ohio Animal Health Foundation, covers a full Conference registration and includes a travel stipend.
