Nature’s Recipe is voluntarily recalling a limited supply of Nature’s Recipe Oven Baked Biscuits with Real Chicken, manufactured in one of its U.S. production facilities. This is being done as a precautionary measure, as the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. No pet or consumer illnesses from this product have been reported to date.

Dog peanut butter product recalled out of caution
Following a nationwide recall of peanut butter made by Sunland Inc., Dog for Dog has recalled its Dogsbutter canine peanut butter treat out of caution. The initial recall began after 29 people contracted Salmonella in 18 states. No Dogsbutter products have tested positive yet for Salmonella contamination, but CEO Rocky Keever stated the company wanted to err on the side of caution.
All the recalled products may be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. No other Dog for Dog products are included in this recall, which includes products manufactured from May 1 through Oct. 1.

Diamond Pet dog food linked to human salmonella infections
Fifteen human cases of Salmonella Infantis have been reported from nine states, including two in Ohio. A number of these infections have been linked to multiple brands of dry dog food manufactured by Diamond Pet Foods.

Boss Pet Products, Inc. announced that it is recalling its Diggers Natural Treat Pig Ear pet treats because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Boss Pet has been notified by one of its suppliers, Keys Manufacturing Company, Inc., that a batch of Keys’ pig ear treats tested positive for Salmonella.
