Northeast Ohio SPCA is searching for a highly motivated full-time/part-time veterinarian. This role includes spay/neuter and other minor surgeries, treating wounds, and performing wellness exams in a wellness clinic setting. Please send cover letter and resume to [email protected]

Assist in managing clinic guests, including those temporarily in foster care, focusing on identification, treatment, and prevention of health problems thereby increasing adoptions and decreasing adoption returns. Perform surgical procedures on clinic/owned animals, as needed, (spay/neuter, hernia repair, growth removals, dental extractions). Maintain all established clinic medical standards, such as drug log/security, cleaning protocols, surgical procedures, medical protocols, etc. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws regarding the practice of veterinary medicine on site. Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including treatments, examinations, test results, surgeries, and outcomes plus other records required by local and state laws. Collaborate with the shelter manager regarding the composition and quantity of all animals brought to the shelter.

We have a very competitive pay schedule depending on experience. Salary negotiable.  A great attitude and the ability to maintain good relationships with other veterinarians in our community is a must.
