PT/FT Veterinarian – Newark, Ohio

Seeking Veterinarian with 1+ years of experience for small established clinic in Newark Ohio. 40 hour work week, 5 days a week, scheduled 1.5 hour lunch breaks. Non-emergency or hospitalized patients and registered vet techs on staff. Basic surgery skills are required, cat spays and neuters, dog neuters, dental cleanings, and simple soft tissue surgical skills.

We see very few ill patients and do mostly wellness visits with lots of kittens and puppies. Though, we can tend to see lots of ear infections, skin infections, diarrhea, upper respiratory infections, etc. Most of the time, the average client is in for vaccines and routine care.

We are a low cost clinic that specializes in offering the best possible care that will meet our client’s budget. It’s understandable that many people are unable to afford great vet care for their pets and so we make sure to set our prices to accommodate a low price tag, that way we truly are assisting the community and pets in need. Our overhead is low because we don’t do x-ray, ultrasound, in house bloodwork, etc. and are able to deliver high quality preventative medicine while keeping our prices low.

Seeking an energetic, friendly up starter who wants a great career opportunity and knows how to build business around them. Must be able to work independently and well with teammates, will seek out additional training and enjoys working in a fast paced, high volume environment. Leadership skills are a must!

Must be able to take direction, lift up to 40 pounds, communicate the pet’s needs to the client, and be adept at teambuilding and staff morale activities.
