Dog Goods USA LLC of Tobyhanna, Pa., is recalling its Chef Toby Pig Ears Treats after FDA testing revealed Salmonella<\/em> contamination in one of the products. According to the company, no illnesses have been linked to the products to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pig ears were purchased from a single supplier in Brazil from September 2018 through August 2019 and were distributed to retail stores nationwide. The affected lot codes include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consumers who have purchased the products are urged to stop feeding them and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Questions may directed to Dog Goods at 786-401-6533 (ext 8000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the latest in a string of pig ear recalls that in July prompted the FDA to issue a warning<\/a> to consumers about pig ear treats. Previous recalls include products from Lennox<\/a> and Pet Supplies Plus<\/a>. The FDA\u2019s investigation into the cause of these contaminations is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
