OVMA received positive feedback from veterinarians and staff who attended the Sales & Use Tax Workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 28. On Wednesday, Sept. 28, OVMA kicked off its fall continuing education program with the Sales & Use Tax Workshop. The course was designed toÊfamiliarize attendees with the new parameters of Ohio use tax enforcement, responsibility and amnesty. A total of 77 veterinarians and staff members participated in the workshop. Attendees gave positive feedback on the course and presenter Justin Mohler ofÊWatson & Associates, Inc., rating the workshopÊan average of 4.76 out of 5. As a follow-up to the course, OVMA is working with the firm on a sales and use tax guidance document. The manual is currently in development.
