Following a nationwide recall of peanut butter made by Sunland Inc., Dog for Dog has recalled its Dogsbutter canine peanut butter treat out of caution. The initial recall began after 29 people contracted Salmonella in 18 states. No Dogsbutter products have tested positive yet for Salmonella contamination, but CEO Rocky Keever stated the company wanted to err on the side of caution. All the recalled products may be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. No other Dog for Dog products are included in this recall, which includes products manufactured from May 1 through Oct. 1.
