Lennox recalls potentially contaminated pig ears

The Lennox International Inc. of Edison, N.J., is voluntary recalling its natural pig ears because they may be contaminated with Salmonella. There have been two reports of dogs that became ill after consuming the product.

The following items are part of the recall:

  • 8-pack pouch, UPC 742174 995163 and 742174994166
  • Individually shrink-wrapped package, UPC 0385384810 and 742174P35107

All UPC codes are located on the front label of the package. The affected products were shipped to nationwide distributors and retail stores between May 1 and July 3, 2019.

Consumers who have purchased the product and have proper receipt may return the product to the place or purchase, or contact Lennox directly at 800-538-8980 (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST) or [email protected] for refund and additional information.
