Annual conference shifting to digital format

At its September meeting, the OVMA Board of Directors voted to pivot the 2021 Midwest Veterinary Conference to an all-virtual platform in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

The online event will include the same high-quality continuing education the MVC’s attendees have praised in the past, as well as a virtual exposition and networking events.

Plans are underway, and complete details will be announced on the MVC website in coming weeks.

OVMLB approves expanded online CE
In July, the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board adopted a resolution authorizing all CE hours to be earned via online formats through the end of the current renewal period (spring of 2021 for technicians and 2022 for veterinarians). The modification does not distinguish between live and static (on-demand) online CE programs, so both are acceptable.
