Purina Feed issues a voluntary recall of certain Purina¨ feed products due to the potential for elevated vitamin D levels. Elevated vitamin D levels may be result in lack of interest in eating, weight loss, possible joint stiffness and even death.ÊNo complaints have been reported yet.
The products were distributed nationwide between April 2, 2012, and May 8, 2012. The affected product should not be used, and where applicable, be returned to the retail dealer.
